About Drawangle

Drawangle is an educational browser game created by Lutorideas for artists, art students, illustrators, designers, and drawing beginners. Its purpose is narrow and practical: make visual estimation trainable through short, repeatable drawing challenges.

Why angle practice matters

Artists constantly compare directions, lengths, intersections, and proportions. Those judgments support perspective, gesture, construction, and observational drawing. Drawangle separates them into focused exercises, then gives immediate numeric feedback so the player can compare intention with result.

How the software is structured

The game generates a target from normalized vector coordinates. The player draws a path on a separate canvas. Drawangle normalizes that attempt, compares geometric properties such as direction, relative length, endpoints, and sampled path shape, then converts the deviation into an accuracy result. Progressive challenges introduce arcs, curves, crosses, and multi-segment polylines.

Locked modes are complete, dynamically generated exercises—not empty placeholders. They become available through successful rounds in the progression system.
